I wanted to get a pair of 15's that I could use in open country on my western hunts. I used these in Kansas and in Arizona. I typically use a 12 all around and a spotter which has worked really well for me over the years. To up the game, I wanted to use these 15's without having to have a spotter just for open plains. In Kansas, these came up really handy because I could use them free hand in the truck as we were scouting spots along the way from farm to farm. In AZ, they were great for using for long range glassing to locate animals. You can use these to tine count which is fantastic as a trophy hunter. I ended up using 8's in close timber due to the FOV and I don't have to worry about packing a spotter in my pack for weight purposes. Overall, these are very flat viewing, clear and definitely in the Alpha glass category. I would highly recommend the 15's in any long range bag for a hunter or guide.
