Slaughters • Western Kentucky Outdoors offers Archery, Muzzle-loader, and Rifle hunts for Trophy Whitetail deer. Whether you are looking to Archery hunt velvet bucks in September, Pre-rut or Rut archery in late October and early November or you like the solitude of winter and hunting food sources during cold fronts we kill bucks throughout the Kentucky Archery season, September through mid-January. If you are a Black powder hunter take advantage of the early 2 day season in October or hunt in December during a time when second rut activity can heat up and if cold, food source action heats up. Of course Kentucky deer hunting is famous for their Rifle season that runs during the heart of the Whitetail rut here in the Bluegrass state. Opening traditionally the 2nd Saturday in November and running 16 days. We hunt multiple farms across multiple counties. You may hunt a farm and stand of the morning and another farm and stand in the afternoon. Our hunts are limited. Book early.

Whether we are chasing birds across farm land, wood lots, big hardwood ridges or spans of creek or river bottom land, it's hard to escape the challenge and excitement Spring turkey hunting provides to the hunter. Kentucky also provides Fall turkey hunting seasons which either sex turkey can be killed with Archery and Shotguns. You may Archery hunt turkey in the fall from September through mid-January. A week long Shotgun season is scheduled in late October And early December. Fall hunting is unlike Spring hunts and offers a different experience.
